IPIS - Redefining Home Services with 24/7 Support.

IPIS Sverige is a home services company that’s all about 24/7 support, whether you need help with installation, plumbing, electrical fixes, or more. They’re dedicated to making sure every job is done right, for both homeowners and businesses.

When they came to us, they had a fresh new look, but their customer flow—booking, payment, and BankID verification—was stuck in the past and didn’t fit their new brand identity. It was time for a full overhaul, and that’s where we came in.

Approach

Giving IPIS a fresh, modern look with a smart & scalable design.

  • Understanding the root cause: We started by talking to everyone involved—handymen, customer service reps, and users to understand their pain points. Using 10 heuristic principles, we spotted the major UX issues on both the customer and handyman platforms/web apps.

  • Collaborate with IPIS from the get-go: We shared our findings with IPIS's stakeholders right from the start. Keeping the feedback loop open was essential. Together, we brainstormed and adjusted our approach to make sure everyone was on the same page.

  • Bring in a unified design system with improved customer flow: We revamped the entire customer journey from booking to payment and verification, making it user-friendly and aligned with their new branding. We also created a comprehensive design system for their website, web app, and other platforms.

SIMPLIFYING THE PROCESS

Introducing the Checklist Builder.

We quickly realized that managing the diverse range of services IPIS offers required more than just a one-size-fits-all approach. Each service—whether it's installations, plumbing, or electrical work—came with its own set of specific requirements. For installations, for instance, we needed to know details like the location, wall material, distance from the wall, and more. Without a streamlined process, gathering all these details was becoming a challenge.

We introduced a checklist builder—a simple yet powerful tool that takes the guesswork out of the process. It’s all about getting the right details upfront, making sure nothing slips through the cracks. The checklist builder allows our sales reps to create personalized forms for each service with all these details in mind. Everything is now in one place, easy to manage and update, making the process smoother for both their team and clients.

Experience Across All Devices

Robust, Responsive Design. Always.

During our interviews, one thing became crystal clear—everyone was on their mobile devices. In fact, 80% of IPIS's traffic comes from mobile users. That meant we had to prioritize a mobile-first experience. We knew that if the design didn’t work smoothly on a phone, it wouldn’t work at all.

So, we made sure every design was tested and prototyped in a mobile environment, alongside desktop, to ensure everything looked great and worked perfectly on mobile devices. Accessibility and design on mobile were always front and center in our approach.

Working closely together and really getting to know what users needed, we helped create a seamless, branded, and user-friendly experience for both customers and handymen. Now, IP i Sverige has an intuitive platform that truly reflects their dedication to quality and efficiency. And we're not going anywhere — Tobello Studio is still here, taking care of routine site maintenance and offering ongoing support.

Plus, with the new web app and checklist builder, their operations are running smoother than ever. Even during holidays and off-hours, their service stays on point, making sure customers always get top-notch support.
